Suitable for beginners and advance students. Group size is limited, basic materials and equipment are provided.
Part 2: Silk Painting 2 Day Workshop - Painting
This introduction to silk painting is an adventure with vibrant colours and this luscious silk fabric! Bring along photos or drawings of buildings, flowers etc and using these as inspiration, experience the magic of this medium! A variety of techniques will be demonstrated. Suitable for beginners and advance students. Group size is limited. Basic materials and equipment are provided.
Part 3: - Creative Machine Embroidery Workshop (2 day workshop) With your collection of hand painted silks and other fabrics add another dimension to the creative process. In a series of workshops you will learn such things as reverse and regular appliqué, and how to use your sewing machine for decorative embroidery.

Birthdays are very special and they can be made memorable for young and old alike. In the process, everyone has an opportunity to create a personal item and have lots of fun in the process.

About the Artist Cecile Arndt Cecile Arndt is an experienced Fabric Artist producing a variety of stunning wall hangings and wearable art. As well as running these workshops, Cecile has also directed and instructed a large Community Art Project in Ipswich using Silk Painting, Creative Machine Embroidery and Appliqué.
